The negative impact to the South Florida tourism industry due to corona virus has been well reported and cannot be overstated. The South Florida economy will be feeling the crunch in the months ahead from retraction in the industry. However, our friends in South America and the Caribbean are now dealing with COVID-19 in greater and greater measures. As one has stated, “As goes Latin America, so goes South Florida.”
